I have this opportunity because D.C. is snowed in. It has been called everything from Snowpocalypse 2010 to Snowmaggedon, to be frank, I understand. I have never seen D.C. so dead in my entire life. Everything is shut down, people are staying in, and if I had to watch one more episode of Family Guy I was going to scream. Don't get me wrong; I love that show, but I just couldn't take it any longer. Too many random thoughts running around in my head. They always do that, but I am beginning to think that if I do not get them out out my head, I will surely go crazy. Although, maybe that is just the medication. Who the heck really knows? In any case, we are predicted to get another 10-20 inches this evening. Hooray. I would just like to take this opportunity to reveal that I moved 600 miles Southeast to get away from the snow. Nothing like a good Nor'easter to remind you why Michigan snowplows are good.
I started this blog because I realized that at 24 (turning 25 in one month) that while I have never traveled overseas (hopefully to change soon), I still have travels. I still have adventures, and journeys, and quests. I also apparently have been reading too much Gaiman. So, let this be the chronicle of my adventures in my urban jungle, and elsewhere. I always have stories and tales in my mind. Let this be where they can finally rest.
Postscript: I am ALWAYS listening to music. This section at the bottom will be reserved for the song I am currently listening to.
I'm Yours by Jason Mraz from Live on Earth album
